La Junta, Colorado is Daniel's hometown and a gem on the plains on Southeastern Colorado. Lodging is available at several chain and locally owned hotels. AirBNB in the La Junta area is very limited. The Hyatt-Neal wedding planning team highly encourages early booking as this wedding will promise a completely sold out lodging situation.
Additional lodging is available in Pueblo, Colorado, approximately 60 miles from La Junta.
The La Junta area is well known for it's farm to table food offerings. The Summer months offer a variety of fruits and vegtables available from many highway-side farm markets. Cattle ranches are abundant across Southern Colorado, which guarantee fresh steak and burgers. You'll also enjoy a unique blend of Mexican and New Mexican dishes from the local cultural melting pot.
The ceremony will take place at the Koshare Indian Museum in La Junta. The museum is home to the second largest collection of Native American art work in the world behind the Smithsonian. The Museum's Kiva Round Room features the largest self supporting log roof in the world.
While you're in La Junta, tune into 102.1FM for Daniel and Haley's favorite music and special wedding updates. It's a (legal and FCC licensed) one-of-a-kind radio station Daniel insisted on and Haley added the finishing touches to!
Daniel and Haley are accepting contributions to their money tree to save towards a future home.
